make 2007 my best year yet

I must say I made a list in January of 35 things I wanted to accomplish…some simple and small, some huge. I’ve completed 27 of them, 3 more are in progress, and the other 5 I’ve either decided that its not worth it or I simple haven’t gotten to it yet. Nonetheless, 2007 has been an AMAZING year for…and a trying one too! My mom lost her husband suddenly, my grandmother almost died in January and was diagnosed with CPOD but is doing fine now…except that she is in rehab for her knee. She had knee replacement surgery Oct 15…but she is doing well. She is 80! My brother and his wife are separated and that has been difficult. He is my best friend. I have relocated back home and am so happy. I know it sounds like a lot of bad stuff, BUT I graduated from college with a B.S. in Pyschology and got into grad school. Getting my Masters of Public Health…I can’t wait to chase outbreaks all over the world! I feel so blessed that my year as gone so well…because it has allowed me to be there for my family who has NOT had a good year. It’s amazing how the Lord works. AND the man I think I love may be moving to Savannah. YAY! My life seems very much on track! Very much! And it’s nice and peaceful to be so content and so “on track!”

Except:
~my job wouldn’t work with my new school schedule. my last day was last wed. still haven’t found work. this is aggravating and scary all at once…bills are due.
~pretty sure the guy that i’ve loved for almost three years as no desire of ever really returning the emotion.
~i have a new roommate that NEVER cleans.

But on the bright side…it’s all in the way you respond to things. The way we respond is the way life blesses us…I believe. So my chin is up…but my pockets are empty.

IT WILL BE A GOOD YEAR….FAITH, I MUST HAVE FAITH!

i know it’s only january…but things are going good. i have realized that it is all in your reactions…life being good and all.
