Watching Amelie tonight for the first time refilled me with hope for a better and happier life, even if only for the small and ‘simple’ things.
Catching up with my best friend of 16 years tonight on the phone was wonderful.
I look forward very much so to my day out in London alone to just wander and people watch and take pictures.
Playing and running around with my son in the springtime sunshine has changed my entire mood today for the better.
An hour of cuddling with my son on the couch watching tv earlier has helped me feel better, even if it’s only short-lived feeling better.
Catching up on emails to friends and family is helping me feel more connected despite the distance in miles between us.
I am looking forward to sleeping tonight so I can wake up feeling hopefully better tomorrow.
I realised this evening that today is my five month anniversary of living in my own house after my separation.
