October 2008 – next year’s garden starts now
- side dressed 1 begonia with dirt from old potted plants
- 1 tub of debris into the composter
- wetted the compost with a drippy hose
- chopped back 1/3 of the north hollyhocks (10/28/08)
November 2008 - chopped back the hollyhocks
- pulled tomatoe plant and rest of pea plants (seeds are sprouting!)
- pulled tansy from flox area
- trimmed firethorn
- pulled some of the mint
