find at least one thing each day that makes me happy and record it everyday for a year

1.) The spaghetti: I know, it doesn’t take much to excite me, huh? Today at school we had spaghetti and salad in the cafeteria for lunch. That is my all time favorite school lunchroom food!

2.) Finn, my three year old, grabbing my cheeks and saying to me, “I’m sorry. It’s okay sweetie” after he was mean to me in his toddler way.

Today I enjoyed a whole thing of cotton candy all by myself and didn’t share it with anybody (I was in the patrol car). I also had some laffy taffy and Diet Rock Star to go along with it…and you know what? I don’t feel one bit guilty.

Today I was very happy that no cars (or pulpwood trucks) were in front of me the whole drive to work…AND

I was happy sitting on the sofa with Finn reading stories tonight while he dug his little toddler piggies into the side of my leg.
