Mom and dad paid them all off for me… I was paying so much in interest I couldn’t get out of my slump anymore…
They paid them off, and just put it all in a lump sum for me to have one monthly affordable payment. They’re charging me only 5% interest on my entire total. I am so greatful for them. I am so lucky. I have no idea what I would do without them. They are my saviors. Literally.

I got an insurance check, and decided to use the money for debts instead of body damage at this time. I made a $400 payment on one card and a $100 on the other. This meant once again, I was below limit, and progress can continue. (ps I haven’t been using them) It felt amazing. But thank god I had that $400 payment… dog had to go to the vet yet again…
Now not so much progress. But the dog is healthy again, which is all that matters. Now the progress can continue. Down to a part time job so the huge over payments aren’t going to be happening again for a while, but I’ll continue to pay at least $10 over the minimum no matter what and when I can, I’ll pay more.
In regards to my other debts, like financed purchases debts, they are going down at rapid paces as well. Consistantly paying $20 over minimum on them as well.
Just keeping hope—someday it will happen.

I’m to the point where I’m trying to not even use my debit card anymore even because apparently I can’t budget worth a shit.
I just got 4* overdraft charges *AGAIN! And they’ve forgave so many more this year then they’re supposed to already, I can’t even ask for more. But at $32 a pop, that’s $128 gone in which I wasn’t expecting. Poof! Vamoos! Gone! :(
The new name of the game for me is Cash diet!
My only exception to this is gas as I don’t like carrying around enough cash for all the gas I have to buy. BUT I’m keeping those receipts so I KNOW what’s in my acct so hopefully I’ll be done with this overdraft shit.

I’m paying $75 on the big one (22% interest card :( ) and $25 on the smaller one (0% interest). Not a lot, but more then the minimum payments and all I have right now… it’s at least a start…

Between my current apartments rent, the rent for the new place, the deposit on the new place, getting the new Jeep fixed already :( (thank god I don’t have to have my first car payment till next month), my first insurance payment plus the deposit I had to have for that, as well as all my other bills, OH plus the gas it takes to fill the new V8 Jeep (which uses 1/4 tank on every mornings paper route), plus all the running S and I use it for on the daily, meaning about $70 to fill it, (typically every 3 days), plus S not having a job currently, so I pay for everything both of us needs as well, I’ve maxed out both cards. I paid $150 on the big one, and $20 on the other (just to make sure I don’t go over my limit again if there were any pending charges). Between all this that had to come out as cash (meaning my already mediocre savings acct.), I have a whole $30 left in my savings acct. and a whole $60 left in my checking—in which I always have to have at least $50 in or I get charged extra as well.
I’m trying to keep high spirits, as I know things will get better. S is getting a job soon (turning in applications left and right everyday), and we get our first check for a month on the paper route here shortly. I know it will get better, but it’s just hard to picture me ever getting out of debt at this point. HOWEVER, S is sharing halfsies on the Jeep payment, insurance payment, all gas, as well as with rent and the other bills along with that… right there, I know is going to take an incredible amt of weight off my shoulders.
Bleh. Stressful, but trying to not let it get to me. Only thing really getting to me is I know we’ll need at least one tank of gas before payday… as we have route every morning, as well as moving… I don’t know where that money is coming from…. but we’ll figure it out.
Rant over.

The opposite of progress is happening in my court again. :(
I’ve been putting everything on credit lately so I have money for my first month of rent, deposit, application fee, and to get my car fixed, all of which had to be done in cash… They’re maxed out again. Fuck. :(

:( This isn’t good…
But I have no choice—it’s only the 4th of the month which means 11 days till I get another pay check and I’m already flat broke. And I still have things like groceries and other necessities to buy…
Something has got to change…
