Recently, I started Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (I know, I’m a just a wee bit late). A few paragraphs in, a locket was mentioned & I was like “what locket?” For the life of me, I couldn’t remember. I have read all the previous Harry Potter books but that was years ago. I’ve obviously forgotten major elements of the plot. So because of this, I’m going to go back and re-read books 1 through 6.
Should be fun because I know I really enjoyed reading the books the first time around. Like so many others, when Order of the Phoenix and Half-Blood Prince came out, I hardly put them down until I was through. I actually got Deathly Hallows when it came out also, but didn’t read it right away b/c I planned to go back & re-read the other books. I just never finished.
Well, I plan on actually doing it this time. Then I won’t have to run away with ears covered yelling “laa laa laa! I can’t hear you!” (lol – not quite this extreme); change the channel; stop reading any time Harry Potter is mentioned for fear of spoilers. By the way…
To anyone reading this (if anyone is) with an itching desire to spill the beans: PLEASE don’t. I think I stand a better chance of completing this goal with the extra motivation of wanting to know what happens. I can see myself possibly giving up on it otherwise. Thank you for understanding!
