get the whole house organised

I haven’t really done this yet. It’s an ongoing process and I never feel truly “organised”. So I guess what I’m trying to say is, I don’t think it’s possible for me to ever really complete this and, as such, I am taking it off my list.

Wow, just offered and had all my junk accepted and taken off my hands already – within the space of a couple of hours.

So the spare/guest room is tidier and will do for the next couple of nights. I wouldn’t however say it’s organised, more of a “stash it where they won’t see it” type of state. But I will get there!

Lovely houseguest is arriving tonight and the spare room looks like a bomb’s hit. Need to get to it NOW.
1) offer all give away items on Freecycle, then bag up & store temporarily (under our bed?)
2) finish putting baby stuff in the nursery
3) put baby stuff to return in the car
4) re-make the bed

Finally got around to washing our green shopping bags and all the handwash clothes, so the sink is empty once more. Next steps for this room are:
1) cut up old clothes and towels to add to the rag bag
2) clean out cupboard under sink
3) hang the broom & mop so they are not constantly falling over
