get a masters degree

like for really for real! i am in an MFA program at Columbia College Chicago and i love it!

well all my rejection letters have come back, so i wont be starting on a masters this year. i did get a good teaching job though. maybe my path doesnt lead me to a masters. maybe there is something better suited for me out there. i hate not knowing.

so i need 3 letters of recommendation for the schools i want to apply to. ive had 2 profs refuse to write letters for me. they dont think i should waste my time. i wont get in apparently, my work isnt unique or significant enough. i feel defeated before ive even begun. im going to apply anyway, i already paid the application fees, it would be futile to quit, but i am pretty convinced that i wont be going anywhere. such a depressing thought.

i visited the school that i had intended to go to for my masters in the fall. not impressed! i do not want to go there anymore. now i have to find a different school and my program is hard to find. hell will freeze over before i can afford to go to the school i really want to go to. this is so frustrating
