try 43 types of chocolate

Manufactured by Hershey’s in the US which makes it highly suspect and begs the question, would it just be plain toffee in England?

Not bad for a small bite, but when they say soft, they mean liquid, like a caramel. Only this bar tastes much more sickeningly sweet than buttery caramel. And I have a sweet tooth…

Ok, I could not find much about this bar online. It pretty much just tastes like a very good (not so processed) 3 Musketeer Bar.

No complaints here.

Milk Chocolate Confection with Chocolate Creme Filling

I’m wondering if this is new to the US market – I haven’t seen it before. It is really pretty good. The chocolate creme filling makes it taste light and very sweet. I would definitely buy again. Yum.

I can’t find a pic or a description, and they were on clearance.

And it’s not a great finish either. Once you get through the excessive packaging, these truffles tasted like they had baking chocolate inside. Yes, it was powdery. I didn’t get it.

I really need to branch out into some different chocolate brands, because now it is just annoying. Looking down the page, I wasn’t that crazy about #s 27-36, and I could use some awesome right about now. Only 6 more opportunities…because you know I’ll never eat chocolate again unless I have the goal, “try 43 more types of chocolate.”

I like Tiramisu, so I decided to try a tiramisu chocolate again. Now I realize that Tiramisu is often made with liquor, but it’s strange how the chocolate has a liquor taste to it. The flavor is too strong for me. I just don’t really like it.

And I like booze. Go figure.

Good, but VERY sweet. Because the toffee is mixed in the chocolate, it isn’t as crunchy or buttery tasting, which is what I love about toffee. I think I will stick to a Heath bar when it comes to toffee!

The toffee adds a nice flavor, but if that’s what you’re in for, you might want a Heath. Still good, but actually quite sweet I thought. I do like the 3 separate bars – makes it a bit more difficult to over-indulge without thinking.

YIKES! I was a little scared to try this, because I’ve never had Marzipan, but I decided the point was to branch out. So here is what I’ve found:

Marzipan is definitely not my thing. Yuck. My husband, on the other hand, thinks this is the best dark chocolate bar I’ve tried.
