I am on week 4 of C25K (c25k.com).
It is challenging, but now I can run for 5 minutes straight with no problems. My asthma doesn’t even act up anymore.
It feels like a really good workout. Everything is toning up (some light weight work a few times a week helps with this too) – my stomach is flat, I have more energy. I just need to focus on getting a good amount of sleep on a regular basis.

Ok so I am on my 3rd week of regularly working out and being more cautious of what I eat.
When I have completed 10 weeks of regular exercise (at least 4x/week) I will consider this goal complete :)

running plan
I am doing the C25K plan and I strongly recommend it (www.c25k.com)
I have been running almost every day for a week now, and I don’t see myself stopping any time soon. I have signed up for 3 races in a few months to keep myself focused. I don’t plan on winning, but i’ll be happy just finishing the 5k.
I never thought running was my “thing”, but its addictive, easy, straight-forward, and inexpensive.

1) Finished my antibiotics on the weekend, so its safe to workout. I have exercised twice so far this week.
2) I’m starting up a jogging/running group in my neighbourhood. I live in Canada, so we will start once the snow has cleared a bit.

Right now..

I’ve been advised not to work out until I am done my antibiotics. I am on Cipro & have a kidney infection, so this kind of puts a hold on things.. but I am actually really looking forward to working out after this.
I would like to get some nice workout clothes to inspire me, but I guess that’s kind of silly. I have enough tshirts and sweats to work out in.
Additionally, I am giving myself a goal now to participate in regular exercise. By the end of February this should be a regular part of my daily routine.
