About 4 months ago I started checking out www.fico.com’s forum and they give u this info on repairing your credit. I sent letters to 5 companies asking if they would have mercy of me, I have paid the debt and if they would please remove the item from my credit report and checked my fico score last week and my score had increased 80 points. Its now 589. I know that’s bad….but its a start.so I’m changing my goal to a 700..wish me luck!!!!!!
