So to accomplish this goal, I’m treating myself to a new bible. Actually, two of them as my wife gets one as well. I got “The One Year Chronological Bible” by Tyndale in NLT and NIV flavors. They’ll be here in about a week.
The best part (aside from the who read the bible thing): since I used a gift certificate from one of my Amazon rewards card, I paid a whopping $8 for two new hardback bibles and still qualified for Free Super Saver shipping.
Woo hoo!

Reading the Bible in it’s entirety isn’t hard, just time consuming. A group of us are planning on doing this over this year and if you divide it up, one should be able to read it all in a year by reading three chapters a day.
That can be accomplished by a morning’s reading on the can for 365 days. Very doable.
We’ll be reading a chronological version of the Bible to make it more interesting. That way all the boring rules in Leviticus will be placed in historical context with other things and the like.
I’m looking forward to this. It should be edifying.
