I really wanted to carry through with this goal, but it just doesn’t seem realistic to me at this point in my life. I might re adapt this goal when I find it at wanting once more. But for some reason, I really feel like this won’t be worth the time. I don’t think one young girl’s opinion on the adultry government system will truly change it… which was what I wanted it to do. Maybe I need to get more specific with my goals instead of just backing out of them afraid that it won’t matter…

Dear Mr. President,
Taking into account that this is your last year in office, I really want to extend my congratulations to you. Not for lying about the reasons we went to war. Not for your No Child Left Behind which nobody recognizes anymore. Not for your failed attempt in the Social Security field. Not for getting into a top college with a C average. Not for your opinions over greenhouse gas emissions. Not for you letting twelve million illegal immigrants into the United States. Not for your flawed response to Hurricane Katrina. But for the fact that you amazingly got through these past eight years without being taken out of office. I hope you live the rest of your life in harmony. Thank you.
