Well, I am currently breastfeeding and it makes me SO hungry! Being so busy and sleep deprived, I hadn’t even thought about this goal until I logged on today to see what goals I had written down (about one year ago). I think I will put this one on hold (not giving up!) until some sense of normality returns to our humble home ; )

I went out for dinner last night. I deliberately did not order too much (this is a big problem for me!) and thought about my food as I ate. I noticed the texture and tried to notice all the different flavours and what they were. I really enjoyed the meal, even though it wasn’t that great. I just need to continue doing this.
I just ate my dinner, logged on and realised that I didn’t think about this AT ALL! I’ll try again tomorrow.
I want to think about the things I eat – how they taste, their texture, where they came from and what impact this food has had on the environment. I will try not to waste food and not to each too much. I want to enjoy each mouthful and think about whether I am actually hungry before eating – this will also help me reach some of my other goals, like losing weight, consuming less, having less of an impact on the world, being healthier!
