I have mastered C- I can make all the notes ring clear. My calluses are awesome!
So, now I can about 6 chords (that I know the names of)... the hard part is switching with any sort of speed.
I will say that practicing switching between chords is much easier now that I can actually play the chords.

I am having a hard time playing C clearly. That sucks, because it is in just about every song in the world.
Last night, my teacher took me aside and handed me the sheet music for Dust in the Wind. He wants me to work a little ahead of the class. So, now I have another project.
saaaaaaame oooold sooooong…..
We learned E minor, which I already know. The teacher asked if I wanted to take the intermediate class instead of the beginner class, but I will stay in the beginner because he said soon we will learn to change chords, which is what I need to work on.
I really enjoyed my class!
My uncle, who plays in a band, gave me some pointers.
I need to get good at switching between G and C and D.
so I will work on that.
Also, he played out my guitar, and it turns out the reason it doesn’t make good, clear sounding notes has nothing to do with the guitar, it’s all me. :) dangit.
