but the extra half hour in the morning really helps me get my day off to a great start. I have been getting up at or before 7 for at least two weeks, I think this has become a habit.

And it is getting easy! I had time this morning to water the houseplants.
I will consider this thing done if I can continue to get up at 7
for the next couple weeks. It might be tough, because daylight savings time is coming, and so is my Aunt Florence, and she always makes me really, really tired.
For the first time in recent memory, I was not late to work on a Monday. I don’t know why, but I have never been able to get to work on time on Mondays- but, today, I did!
I got out of bed at the stroke of 7 (my husband adjusted the alarm clock)- and bed was feeling really nice, too- freshly laundered sheets, still tucked in and smooth….
Can’t wait to get back in!
It was tougher this morning, since I work from home today, and I didn’t have to get ready- but I did it.
My daughter didn’t want to get out of her bed, though, so we still had some friction.
I am excited for this to become a habit.
I got out of bed at 7:00. The extra half hour made my morning almost delightful. My daughter’s, too.
I roll on out of bed at about 7:20. My snooze bar gets me nine minutes a pop, so I hit it quite a few times.
I have to get out of the bed and walk across the room to press snooze, too.
I get plenty of sleep. I want to get out of bed earlier so that I can use the time to groom myself, get the daughter ready for school (more time= less pressure, less hassle, less screaming, more love, more giggles)and perhaps go jogging.
My goal for tomorrow is out of bed by 7:00. That’s three snoozes- that should be enough.
