Granted, there are many good things about the iPod, but one side benefit is that I don’t have an urge to go buy CDs as I’m still working on uploading the ones I have at home. laughs
And to show you how dedicated I am to this Apple-goodness, I have removed all CDs from my car. Come on – THAT is dedication!

Damn me! I just purchase an iPOD Mini. What is up with that?? So, no more CDs for the rest of the year…?

Wow, so in the past two days, I’ve purchased four CDs: The The, The Arts & Sciences, Coldplay (Live 2003), and Anna Nalick. And we are only five days into June! AND I still have Coldplay’s new release on Tuesday to purchase. Maybe I can hold off for the remainder of the month and give myself time to digest my splurges. sighs

I cannot resist buying CDs on the day of release. I will end up buying the new Coldplay CD next Tuesday so that is one CD down and one more to go for the month of June.
Wish me luck!

There are those CDs that you line up for on release day. There are medicore CDs that you purchase a few weeks later. There are CDs you purchase just because you want to try out a new unknown artist. Even CDs you buy to impress your music-loving friends or soothe your guilty pleasure.
BUT with a CD collection reaching way over 1,000, I need to slow down. How can I possibly give them all equal listening time? If I can only purchase 2 a month, at least that will give me a full two weeks to break each one of the CDs in adequately and learn whether I add it to my collection or try to sell it used.
Or is this all just some really silly addiction?
