Cleaning off bookcases, tackling this on two fronts: 1, get rid of all books I don’t want to read; and 2, figure out how many I have to read. 20 books I own, and haven’t read.

Canterbury Tales is the novel du jour…except I keep forgetting that it is. This is possibly the slowest goal I’ve got going on.
Finished Wicked. Very interesting, fiction, philosophy, satire, cultural criticism, and fairy tale all wrapped up in one. I think I’ll keep it.
Finished 50 Psychological Classics. Need to pick the next book in my collection. And also get rid of Lolita.
Gave up on Lolita, definately a lesson in NOT buying a book just because it’s a “classic” and “I should read it”. Icky (in my clinical judgement), and so not my cup of tea. Moved on to “50 Psychological Classics”, which is moving along nicely.
Unpacked from my move and put all the unread books on top of the bookshelves, which actually makes all the books fit, and makes it much easier to see what I’ve got out still. Working on Lolita now. 3 weeks in, and I’ve read the forward!
