Learn to knit

I finished knitting a scarf from Lion Brand suede yarn in denim color. It’s so soft. I’m still considering making the butterfly scarf, but I found a free pattern for a summer cardi wrap that is so cute! I’m going to order the yarn for it and get started as soon as possible. I knit so slow that it will take me several months to complete it.

I am also going to move this to the items I have done list. Although there is much I don’t know about knitting, I think just knowing the basics and knitting two items, I have accomplished what I set out to do.

class a couple weeks ago. I finished knitting the bag, but I still have to block it, and put a lining and the handles on it. It’s a beautiful charcoal gray. One of my favorite colors! The reason I wanted to learn to knit was so I could make a long scarf. I saw a pattern on Knitty Gritty yesterday (butterfly pattern), I think would be beautiful as a scarf in teal.
