Daily: Reflect on 5 things for which I'm grateful.

1. Today I am grateful for the fact that my benefit cheque finally arrived a month without money was too much!!!

1. An extra quarter hour in bed this morning! My alarm went off and before I could reset it I’d gone back to sleep! Thanks to my inner alarn clock I wasn’t late for my voluntary work!
2. The learning difficulty service users in the group this morning. They are the greatest bunch of people I am fortunate enough to be working with.
3. (from yesterday) I recieved an email from one of my 43T friends!
4. Robinson’s fruit & barley peach flavour!
5. And last but not least MARMITE mmmmmm

1. we went to a show tonight it was done by the visually impaired action group. and i thought it was brilliant! Kev didn’t think so – not his thing apparently. i thoroughly enjoyed myself! plus it was free!
2. I’m very pleased with myself – I am getting an old hand at forms, the one from the council for my housing benefit only took two hrs to do and that included delivering it and having all my documents photocopied! woohoo!!
3. I am glad that there were quite a few people at the show tonight whom I could network with!
4. so far it had been a mild start to February. there was a patch of snowdrops in the park.
5. 865 days clean & sober i’m very grateful for that!

1. The sun shone all day here!
2. Potato mashers! they save a helluva lot of time & arm ache!
3. My recovery plant is still alive! just. though no help srom me!
4. CD-RW. I haven’t got an MP3 player but it’s good to download music onto good ol fashioned CDs!
5. Having all day to spend with Kev.

1. I had a busy day today out for 11 hrs straight it was so nice to come home and have a coffee waiting for me! Thanks Kev!
2. I made a pretty mean pot is instant mash today just by guessing the amount of water to add – we’ve lost the mearuring jug!
3. I’m grateful to E who has faith in me! She gave me a list of emails which needed sending.
4. My counsellor deserves a mention today was wicked!
5. I am grateful that I don’t need drink or drugs to get me out of bed in the morning! 2 yrs 4 mths & 2 wks clean. YAY!!!

1. I had my hand painted with henna today; that certainly was a new experience!
2. We took the group to a multicultural open day today and that was brilliant! Everyone enjoyed themselves
3. The sun was shining!
4. Thanks to Ian I had a lift home today.
5. I’ve got someone at home who makes me a drink when I get home from work. It makes me go all fuzzy inside!

1. For the first time I can actually afford a printer/scanner/copier, which I got yesterday!
2. Heating – As soon as it gets near freezing I’m real glad I had storage heaters installed (I probably won’t say that when the electric bill comes) but I’m grateful at the moment!
3. Kev is starting to get into DIY – he’s showed absolutely no interest before. He put up a coat rack today.
4. Another thing I’m grateful to Kev for is that he always does the washing up and keeping the floor clean!
5. I’m glad to be back on 43T I’ve missed you all xxx

1. after 11 long weeks without one I finally got one! its a much better one so fingers crossed i will be on here for good!

2. Kev moved in and everything’s going good with that!

As it’s Halloween I thought I’d find a pic 2 go with it!

1. The bloke came & fitted my storage heaters in today, just in time cos we’re due a cold snap.
2. I got my ideal lighter from eBay today. It’s a pink Zippo with the head of a playboy rabbit on
3. I am pleased that the Robots have sorted out the bugs on 43things.
4. the electrician who came 2day he’s given me a shove in the right direction, sometimes that’s all I need, 4 me 2 get my passport!
5. I am grateful 4 my oven which cooks my food daily.

1. I spent more than I’d bargained for on clothes today. The thing I am grateful for is that I don’t feel guilty!
2. I managed to get the last available washing machine at the laundrette this morning.
3. David Attenborough – he has been presenting interesting wildlife programmes since before I was born. I’ve just seen him on serpents it was fantastic!
4. I am grateful that my flat is so easy to clean.
5. The clocks going back. For once I am looking forward to this winter. I’m in a much better headspace than I’ve been in before… bring it on..!
