List 43things I am grateful for or making me smile

She is the one who inspires me to take “hahaplant” as my screen name, which means “a sunny, happy, smiling plant.” She had that magic power to make people laugh and feel loved around her. One day, I went to her house, crying over something really stupid my lover said to me. After comforting me, she saw smile again on my face. So she said, “Keep smiling, even when things are difficult. If you do that, blessings will come your way. When you smile, you make everybody so happy.” That night, I discovered 43things and named myself “hahaplant,” hoping that I can remember her teaching.

He encourages me. He is most happy when he sees me in the gym, doing cardios on the days when I am not in training. Even though he doesn’t need to, he would check on me, making sure that I am keeping good posture, and etc. He is so GREAT!

I have never bought clothes for children before, not until today. My niece, oh well, hubby’s niece to be exact, is 8 years old. So I headed out to the department store when my mother in law told me that she would go visit our little niece. I was really amused at how small the clothes are for mini-humans. Then, here comes the technical part: how do you convert the sizes: is medium size 8, size 10, or size 12? The sales clerk was really very helpful. Jeans or a pair of light brown capri pants with cut flowers on them? Dark purple turtle neck or the black dress with some pink color? How can I choose? He saw me buried in the pile of children’s clothes, not knowing what to do. I was surprised that he would join me and help me to choose. I was even more amazed that he knew so much about clothing. “Jeans, because it is versatile, you can match it with a white shirt or anything.” “Ah, why turtle neck? Do you think that the place she lives in is colder?” In just a couple of minutes, he helped me reduce my pile of clothes to half of it. Somehow, I feel that he was genuinely interested in my little shopping project. That always makes shopping experience very special.
