this November. But that will mean I’ll have to take a break from editing my first two books & sending them to agents. And I can’t use the plot I’ve been working on for my next novel, because it’s far too epic and I want to spend more time on it. However, I could use an idea that I had several years ago…

So… I’m clearly not going to make this goal this year! :P
At least I did get the plot pretty nailed down. (I’ll probably start writing it sometime in the summer, though.)
I know what basic plot I want to go with, but I wish I had time to grow it organically – waiting to get ideas in the shower, etc. This is how I developed my previous plot for a year before I filled in the details with brainstorming. I feel that I should have the plot set by the end of September, but that deadline is rapidly approaching. Even if I have the plot down by November, I highly doubt I’ll be able to find the time to write 50k words that month. :( Gah – no more negative talk! I will finish my plot! I will write 50k words in a month! Also, I WILL publish my current novel!
