Watching the film “Riding Alone for Thousands of Miles” allowed me to practice a little Japanese last night. It’s a great film about father son relationships, with beautiful scenes filmed in China. The main character is Japanese, but there is both chinese and japanese through most of the film as the main character works through two translators who accompany him through his quest to do something for his dying son.
