I sold recently my old mobile phone on ebay.

It was successful, but I was a little surprised about what’s left from the money after ebay and PayPal have deducted their fees:

Item Sold for: £68.00

- Insertion Fee: £0.35 (for listing)
- Picture Fee: £0.12 (additional pic)
- Gallery Fee: £0.15 (pic in search)
- Buy-it-now Fee: £0.25 (end premature)
- Final Value Fee: £2.71 (commission for ebay)

= ebay Fee: £3.58

- PayPal Fee: £2.51 (money transfer)
- Postage: £2.54 (Recorded Delivery)

Fees altogether: £8.63
