Buy a House

I think I might have changed my mind about this one… at least for the time being. Of course I want to get a house someday. But I don’t think I’ll be ready for a little while.

We’ve got an investor! I’m not totally sure what that means or how we go about getting a house with them but at least we now know it’s a possibility. Too bad the house we wanted on Mimosa is under contract now. Keep on searching…

We looked at a house tonight that we both want so bad. There’s an aparment in the basement that we can rent out to help pay our mortgage and some pretty simple things we can do to help increase the value of the house by the time we want to sell it. Sigh… I want this to work out reallllly bad!!

My husband and I looked at a house we really like but we have bad credit. Well, I have NO credit and he has things on his credit that he needs to fix (things reported more than once, things that aren’t even him)... And after talking to some people, they even said getting my parents to cosign a loan may not work. But our realtor is asking the owners if they’d be willing to do a lease to own for a year while we clean up our credit. I’m not counting on it but it’d be exciting.
