go out on "date nights" with my spouse on a regular basis

but we finally get to go on a lil date! I’m excited to spend some alone time with my honey ♥ probably just a movie & lunch but it’s more than ok. I’d be happy just laying in bed all day with him haha (on second thought) ;]

It was not a planned date. We actually meant just to run to game stop & 1 other place…but we decided we’ve gotta a baby sitter lets go for it. We hit up Tex Wasabi’s which is Food Network star Guy Fieri’s place. They serve Sushi & BBQ it was SO insanely good. Johnny Garlic fries…shoe string french fries drenched in parmesean cheese and garlic sweet niblets it was good. I had a spicy tuna roll called a “dirty magazine” lol he had half rack of ribs it was good. Expensive and totally over priced but good. :)

was nice. The kids went with grandma once again. They spent their day with his sister :) soon after they left I joined Ian in bed and we took a nap together ♥ it’s amazing how good I sleep when there are no kids here to make me sleep with “mom ears” (waking with every sound) after a few hours I woke up starving…cashed my check and we went to Red Lobster. Had a GREAT dinner. Did a lil shoppig…then came home and watch UFC91 <—totally sucked booo brock lesnar! I ended up driving him to work that night & picked him up this morning where we ended up going for breakfast with our son who made it home last night. :] funny thing is we ended up napping again together for a few hours in the morning. I know some may think thats not a date but really…time a lone is more than enough. But time with my love…in bed just cuddling…is perfect in my eyes.

another date ;] a movie, drinks, & dessert ♥

A few nights back…Ian’s mom took the kids for the night. I usually don’t let the kids go out on weeknights but I wasn’t actually feeling so well so I said what the heck. Besides daddy was off that night ;) so after they started getting ready to go I asked if he wanted to see a movie ;) on our way to the place I asked him if he wanted to stop & have dessert after the movie.

We watched Nick & Nora’s infinite play list…so cute totally funny movie I loved! Not full of sex and no violence just a clean funny movie it was very refreshing.

We stopped at Applebee’s after had some snack type foods spinache & artichoke dip chicken strips and a riblet basket omg so not good for you but so damn good :) finished off with some chocolate mousse shooters holy crap those are good. We got home and put the blow up mattress in the living room & slept out there. The next day…I wasn’t doing good and called in sick. :( but at least I got to sleep in with my ♥

We went out on Sunday. Matter of fact we spent a majority of Sunday together doing stuff all around together…we started out the day going to get a few things at walgreens and target…then went home and got ready for our date. We went to the movies and saw Blindness…enjoy a Starbucks together went back to his moms picked up our kids and came home. Oh but it didn’t end there. We both went outside to clean up…took turns mowing our back yard…and sweeping. Then I made a lasagna & he made some garlic bread we shared a big bowl of black cherry ice cream and YES the day totally included not 1 but 2 sessions of some AWESOME lovin :) it was a great day. I couldn’t have asked for a better day with my love.

It feels like it’s been ages. But we finally got a night out without the kiddos. We managed to make it through dinner without any phone calls…but they came shortly after. :) Even at dinner the ladies at the Chinese place asked us where the kids where. haha we can’t go anywhere without them. But it was a nice dinner out, no catering to their needs ordering extra weird combos cuz they wont eat what we do. We managed to squeeze in a quick grocery trip with the baby…but it wasn’t too bad :) I hope we can squeeze another date in one day soon!

We went out to dinner & watched a movie. Dinner was a little weird. He was silent for most of it. Rather than bother him & asking what was wrong I stayed silent too. I ate my dinner which was amazing…and we ordered desserts to go. Which I ended up sharing with him and our daughter later that night.

We watched Harold & Kumar & it was HILARIOUS…my stomach & mouth hurt from so much laughing. It totally ended the silence between us & ended the night perfectly for us. We came home, shared chocolate cake watched some TV and went to bed :)

lol I think we’ve found a favorite spot. It was a “double date” the kids were with us. We shared a pizza & some happy hour appetizers :) fried ravioli’s YUM! The shared a frozen yogurt. It was nice, took a walk shortly after getting home :P all in all a great way to end my Monday!
