... I’ve been really concentrating on tracking and paying off my next debt account. It’s around 6K, so it’s no small thing, but my parents want to help, which is weird because I’m not used to them giving me money for stuff; most of my life they’ve been such a financial mess that I’ve always tried not to depend on them.

... one of the smaller debts is now paid off. Now I apply what I would have paid there, to my second debt, and away it goes. Wish me luck.
... I’ve gotten down to a few hundred dollars on one of my three major student loans. It’s the smallest one, but it will still feel good to resolve it.
.... I didn’t know if that IBR application had gone through. Turns out it has; they just didn’t send me any confirmation. That means I’m payment free (on that loan) for one year.

I’ve been filling out paperwork for income-based repayment (IBR) and they keep sending me requests for more stuff.
I spent some time on the phone today with some annoyed reps for the loan company, who didn’t seem to understand my confusion.
