clean out my closets

Finished cleaning out both of my upstairs closets since I’m selling my house and moving the hell out of there. Go me!

I put a dent in this one today. Threw out two big garbage bags of junk papers and other miscellaneous stuff that’s been collecting dust in the closet in my home office. I now also have 80% of all my books packed in boxes and all of my notebooks are boxed up as well. Yay me!

With my impending divorce, I am now extremely motivated to get back on this. I’m going to start collecting boxes so I can separate my stuff from his and bagging up all the crap I want to just throw away. In an ideal world, I could just chuck everything into one of those large metal drums and light it all on fire…

Well there was a free e-Recycling day out at the fairgrounds so I brought my old computer and monitor, an old printer, a bunch of broken cell phones and other electronic stuff down there and tossed it! Now I’ve just a lot of extra room in the closets! Next week I’ll work on pulling all the old clothes out and bringing them down to donate next Saturday. It feels good to purge junk.
