improve my credit score

I applied for and was approved for a 14,000 car loan so that should help my credit a bit, but I think what I’m lacking is revolving accounts. I had huge troubles with credit cards a couple years ago and all my creditors closed my accounts. Now that they are all paid off, I feel like I am starting back at the beginning again. This time, I’m not going to get in over my head though.

I went to look at my free credit reports and I was disappointed that it didn’t tell me about my credit scores. So I decided to enroll in a credit report and score subscription with my bank so that I can keep track of my scores. I am currently in the low 600s/high 500s in the 3 credit reporting agencies, which sucks ass because I used to be in the mid-to-high 600s just a few years ago.

I’m going to be more vigilant about keeping tabs on my credit score from now on though. :D
