move out of the midwest

I have lived in the midwest all of my 35 years. I like it here but there is a great big wide world out there and I want to try something else. My husband has decided that where we live now, in Chicago, is the greatest place on Earth so this will be difficult.

I finish grad school in a little over a year and then I told him I am moving. Hopefully I can convince him to come with me, but either way I am taking the dogs.
