this has slipped of late. I live with a vegetarian, & we cook together, but we both eat too much sugar & cheese, and have too much of an inclination to drink lots of coffee. Also, because I tend to be at uni late in the afternoon, sometimes cooking something decent to eat doesnt happen the way it would if I was finished at uni early in the afternoon. And we’re both quite busy and never seem to get round to doing proper shopping which might make us healthier. Plans:
*eat at least one piece of fruit per day, not including fruit juice which I always have a glass of in the morning anyway!
*have vegetables with every dinner we cook
*choose non-bread options for lunch at uni
*have more veg based sauces than cheese based
*stop buying brie!!!

This week with work I’ve been swimming, and done a lot of walking around. I was also running on the beach for a bit. Lots of fresh coastal air, and plenty of fruit and vegetables -theres something about working with people like A, who is really healthy, that inspires me to make a healthy packed lunch and not to have sweets or chocolate.

I’m getting more healthy gradually these days. Once, back when I was about 13, our Home Ec class had to write down every time they had a peice of junk or sweets or cake or crisps. I had more than everyone else, by quite a lot. Then I was eating about 3 bars of chocolate a day. Since then we dont buy biscuits, crisps or chocolate, but I still have the temptation to have them when I’m at work or out shopping. I also need to do more excercise, seeing as I dont have compulsary PE lessons at school to go to. Last week I went swimming with the special needs kids and really enjoyed it so I need to go more often.
