learn to drive

I got a giftvoucher for 4 1hour lessons for my birthday. And I got a relief job at a care home so its quite likely I will need to drive a lot at odd times. As soon as all this snow melts (www.flickr.com/photos/hanzi-nannog) Ill get started again!

no backing out now. My sister turns 17 2 weeks later so we are both getting lessons, maybe the competition will encourage me!

I have no excuses now not to learn. Mam has offered to take me out driving today. I could start getting professional lessons now but I dont know when im working from week to week so it would be hard booking them. But I must do it!

I’ve had my liscense for about a year and a half now, since I turned 17 (legal age here). Most of my friends have now passed theirs and are free to go wherever they want to, whenever, but I still have the L plates up and have hardly driven at all. Everyone says I have got to do it before I go away to uni, or it will be so much harder to continue. So I’m going to get some proper lessons, and get doing more practice with Mam in our car.
