my flatmate brought me a flute from home which he wasnt using… i found a note chart online and have managed to play a little bit along with cds, but am finding breathing a real problem – can only get the first octave! But there are quite a few flute players around on my course so I’m going to see if I can get a few tips!

flute is a really nice instrument, i would love to be able to play it either classically or to play folk music on it!
