I’ve been doing a box-fitness class once a week for about 3 or 4 months now. It’s shown me just how hard I can push myself, which is much harder than I originally thought. In addition to that, I’ve been doing a variety of other cardio and strength training sessions and I can truly say I am more fit than I have been since I was a teenager! I have a few medium-term plans to nail down in the next few months but as soon as I do, I’ll be joining a boxing gym to get all of my training focused around boxing. It’s not so much that I want to compete but I want to gain the skills and I want the high level of fitness that goes with the training.
