I’m ecstatic to say that today I handed in my notice at my horrible soul-sucking job and am now a mere four weeks from a new shiny job. I will be working on websites, mostly SEO at first, although there is plenty to muck in with. The pay is only a slight increase as I am a trainee but I would take less just to be working for this kind of company.
My tip for getting the job you want: only apply for jobs like the one you want, study what you need to in your spare time and come across as an obsessive in your interview.

Well, the interview went well but I got a feeling that I ain’t going to get it. It gave me hope though that I can get a job like that. I should find out by the end of the week.

I’ve got an interview on Monday for an awesome job. I’m not exactly qualified for it, and I keep having to tell my mind to shut up.
Job interviews feel much more daunting when you actually want the job.
I think I’ll have to walk the fine line between lying about my ability and selling myself short.

I thought I already had this on my list but no.
Anyway, I’ve been working on this and I have an interview next week for a job with much better pay and possibly more interesting work.
