I went to the gym tonight even though I was quite tired and didn’t really want to. My leg muscles were sore from working out with my husband day before yesterday. He’d had me in the weight room doing squats and then showed me something new to me – Romanian dead lifts. He said they’d tone the backs of my legs and strengthen my lower back. He wasn’t kidding. Even though they felt deceptively easy at the time, my legs have been sore since yesterday morning. So, tonight I stretched really good then went on the treadmill for about 45 minutes and just walked fast. I was feeling better after that and did some crunches, lifted 15 lb weights different ways, and then did some lunge walks. I’ll probably feel sore again tomorrow, but I’m feeling good about it tonight. I’m getting healthier, toning up, and have ensured that I’ll sleep well tonight.
