learn how to cook gumbo and orange cake like grandma

When trying to elicit the orange cake recipe from Grandma, I found out something shocking: My Grandma uses a store-bought cake mix to make her orange cake! To make it all moist, she melts a mixture of butter and oil together and drizzles it over the cake. I never would have thought… Is it wrong for me to feel slightly betrayed here?
