Part 2 / the other half.
These lights generate tremendous heat and light.
Just what these plants love…

36...

A picture of “our” plants.
There are 2. The plant area setup picture 1…

And yet tonight...(35)...

On Adrienne’s plant, a male by any definition I have ever known, has a seed pod growing on one of the stems.
Don’t get me wrong.
These plants are quite in demand.
Euphorbia seed pods have 3 seeds each.
I have no idea what is going on.
But these plants have a tiny habitat and may be asexual.
I guess time will tell.

34...

Adriennne’s Euphorbia Gamkensis.
Another male.
All the flowers I have observed are male.
They have pollen ONLY!...
I brought it over here to pal around with my plant of the same species…

33...

My Euphorbia Gamkensis.
A very different sort of plant.
I bought it on our trip to San Diego.
It is a male. The flowers have pollen in them.
All of them.
My magnifying glass works just fine.

32...

Euphorbia Stelatta #1
Female.
Loaded with seed pods with 3 seeds per pod

31...

Euphorbia Squarrosa.
Female.
I could resell it for 3 times the price I paid.
I won’t.
I will propagate hundreds of these from the stock I purchased…

30...

I’ve looked for one of these for years.
Hard to find and gone immediately when listed on an auction or nursery website
At the Convention, one seller was thinning out his collection.
Instant show plant. I shipped it in the pot with the soil covered with paper taped over it. It was packed to be bulletproof, double boxed with reinforcement and lots of peanuts and crumpled paper to protect.
I love it.
Euphorbia Balsamifera.
And it’s quite large…

29...

Euphorbia Unispina waking up from a winter nap…

28...

A whole tray of Tylecodons. Cotyledon is another name for the same species. I have 6 different kinds…
