If you think...

this isn’t a consideration of
adults with experience under the belt
when considering whether to
do or not
the answer is most likely yes.
It is weighed and evaluated…

Of things that I've noticed...

This ranks very high on the list.
Top 10 most certainly.
It won’t matter to some how you are.
No matter what you stand for or do, they will judge and dislike you and your actions.
That bothers many.
But not me.
I try to be myself according to my experiences and values.
If that isn’t good enough for some,
so be it.
Some of those people need to look at themselves a bit more than they look at others…

Supposed you had noticed...

a parent who had abusive properties?
Due of course to experience somehow.
Suppose the Dad of that previous mentioned relationship
had mentioned to you (me) that his daughter had most certainly told me what a bastard he was? Why, I may have mentioned how I was capable of making my own mind up based on the facts.
So here are the facts.
Certain people I know hate abusive parents (like me and my girlfriend, we have had enough, thank you very much).
My girlfriends Dad doesn’t now talk to my girlfriend. Last year and the 4 years previously, he didn’t talk to her sister.
But now he does, because that is how the cycle goes.
The sisters Mom is dying from lung cancer.
Adrienne asked me if she would be allowed to go to the funeral.
I said you most certainly would.
Fuck that controlling asshole. Who does he think he is?
Her Mom can’t even call her ulless she ditches him.
(A bastard indeed)
And so, another layer of experience added on.
Not welcome.
But certainly not to be afraid of.

I've come to the...

conclusion that having any real time dialog or conversations on 43things with the present time delay is impossible. Not the the old days where the conversation flowed for hours some nights.

I sure don't know...

how I kept myself entertained in the olden days ;)

A force can be powerful...

Unseen forces are hard to measure
They can come quickly
bringing a welcome breeze that touches the skin
cooling the day with needed moisture
Or rip your life and home from
its foundation
crushing your present
and fogging your future
Everyone needs a storm cellar at times…

Those of you...

who love YouTube but dislike the commercials at the beginning of your videos, listen carefully.

Almost always, pressing F5 will bypass them.

No thanks are needed.

Smile at someone tomorrow instead ;)...

I love to explore...

things that just beg for attention.
Abandoned mines are near the top of my list.
This one was pristine in its loneliness.
Well preserved and laid out in a residential like plot with cabin and 2 large outbuildings.
There were no No Trespassing signs
However, there were 2 of these signs
a sure indication other explorers had been killed while looking for adventure.
We did not enter, even though I wanted to…

Second hand and Thrift stores are the best...

A few times a year, we make that investigative trip to discover what items can be had for nickels / dimes on the dollar.
Close by are 2 stores that are in very well to do areas of the city.
Yesterday was the best.
The first one we went to was packed, because most everything was 50% off. How lucky can you get?
The items we look for are planters, pots and anything that could be used as one. Then cool decorative items for the home.
And of course, clothes.
About a third of my wardrobe has come from these 2 stores. For within are found items that are brand new, great brand names and sometimes have been dry cleaned before donation.
The first store had us discovering a number of treasures.
It was also trashed by the frenzy of the many shoppers…

Eventually we moved on to the second store. One of the same chain and fairly close by.
They were loaded with things that were perfect. And clothing that was so perfect as to make me think I was dreaming.
When you go into a thrift store and find brand new shirts that were 60 to 120 new and with the mark down are 2 to 3 dollars, happiness sets in.
I bought around 12 pots of various sizes, 4 pair of summer shorts, 1 beautiful pullover sweater, 8 of the most perfect casual and dressy shirts and numerous masculine decorative items.
For less than 35$
My woman found an equal amount of very usable and sexy clothes for about the same amount.
Close to 4 hours of such great fun and success!...

My coffee pot has a problem...

I like my coffee pot and grieve at the difficulties it needs to overcome. I’ve owned BUNN coffeemakers for years. They brew extremely fast and seem to make great coffee.
And if you call them, they will send you a box to send your old maker back to them and for a fee ($35 the last I remember) will rebuild or just send you a new one.

Mine is leaking water from the holding tank out of the bottom. Not much, a few spoonfuls every time I brew a pot. The leak seems to be about an inch from where the electrical cord attaches.
A cup of coffee with a 120 volt shock may not be too fun…
