save $2000

It’s time to buckle down and really start saving. I think I am allergic to this apartment and I want a house.

I just put $5 I found in my purse into my savings. Only $1995 left to go. I am hoping to do make it to $2000 this time without having to dip in to it, but I know things happen sometimes. Here’s to trying!

I was about to delete this goal off my list. Why? We ended up taking my “stash of cash” to Bonnaroo last week. I was a little bummed about having to use what I was trying to save.

Then it occurred to me that, no, I don’t need to delete this off my goals. Part of having a goal is the ups and downs of trying to meet it. :)

Besides, there can be no “savings” while there is anything on the credit card, so I’m going to take care of that tomorrow and I can begin the stash again.

I added $167 today. $1714 to go. :)

I’m up to $119. $1881 to go!

My husband worked a very quick side job today (less than 30 minutes) and gave me the $50 he made, so I put it right into the stash. I also took an extra $5 out at the grocery store to put in as well. $1923 to go!

I added another $2 today. $1978 to go!

$2 more dollars into the stash! $1980 to go!

I put $18 in. $1982 to go!
