take up two hobbies

I’m learning to play the guitar which you cuold count as a hobby but the kind of thing that I’m looking for is something that I can do sociably. Something which would induce me to meet new people because since all my friends have left uni and therefore left edinburgh things have gotten a bit quiet. Sp I need something that I can get into, that will fill up my evenings and will let me make new friends. Any suggestions would be great :)
