Ok I thought I was being clever and going well Laura is in Mexico for christmas so I have loads of time to finish the blanket. Well that was true in theory but in truth I have had no time to finish it and have only had two nights of working on it since. I start full time employment on monday and she gets back on tues so boy am I screwed. I guess that’ll teach me to put more effort in, in future. Hopefully she’ll understand.
Have been struggling to find time to do this now that I have my puppy, she has this liking for things to chew and chase and since my blanket could fall into both of those categories it has been hard to keep her distracted long enough to get any done. Today I did a pink stripe which is about 4000 stiches so not that bad but still a long way to go. The worst bit is that I kinda decided to knit Robbies girl cousin one as well so got to do that to. Nightmare!! Gonna be some late night knitting I think
I’m knitting my wee sis a pink and purple blanket for her christmas. It’ll be a one of a kind really cool pressie only she’s headin to mexico for the christmas hols leaving early in December. I really want to have it finished for her going away so she knows what she’s getting for christmas. Unfortunately the pup likes playing with the wool so I’ve had to put it on hold for now, fingers crossed I get some intensive knitting time at some point in the near future
