My university has an Interfaith Center located almost directly behind my current residence hall. I’ve always thought about visiting, just to see what’s inside, but somehow it just slips my mind or I’m too chicken to step up and see what it’s all about.
I’m not particularly religious. However, I’ve been raised as a Buddhist and I agree with many Buddhist teachings. I’ve always seen Buddhism as less of a religion and more of a philopsophy and, it might be this attitude that makes me still cling to Buddhism. It makes sense to me in general and in reference to my life.
Maybe if I visit Interfaith, I’ll be able to get in touch with my evaporating religion.
