build good credit

I’ve been making car payments for a year and haven’t been late once, so I must have some credit now.

I had no credit at all… nothing. So when I bought my car I had to have my aunt co-sign. I’ve had the car for 4 months now and haven’t missed a payment. I’ve also been over-paying, so if I do miss a payment (they send me the bill at the LAST minute every month!), it won’t matter because the balance every month now is $0.00.

I know buying a car and making payments isn’t a big deal but I’m just happy that I will finally have some credit in a year if I make all my payments on time. Then I’ll be able to do things like move out of my mother’s house.
