build a raft for the mississippi river

I’d love to cut the branches, strap it all together and fashion a raft with simple shelter on it in the style of Huck Finn’s great adventure. I’d like to start up high and travel all down that mizzzipp river, idly thinkin on life and soakin up the joys of the river, studying my books and writing in my journal.
