I am refining this goal. I am going to aim to make one thing each month. My first project: a camera mount for my bicycle – similar to what this guy did: http://www.camerahacker.com/build/Bicycle_Camera_Mount.php …

now holds things that I might actually want to reach. Feeling ambitious one day, I hauled out the plastic pegboard that Tony (my brother) had given to me around a year ago. I cut a piece of rope to a length just over twice the length of the short end of the board. I looped that through the outside pegs, knotted it, and slung it over two unused wall-hooks. A trip to Home Depot yielded a $6 container of assorted peg-hooks. These peg hooks were carefully arranged to hold my keys, wallet, backpack, and various office supplies. Even if this pales in comparison to ReadyMade, I’m proud of it!
and deep down in my being I believe that I have the fundamental skills required for the projects in there. But I never seem to do much. The closest I’ve come is turning my walk-in closet into a personal office space (although mine is far more utilitarian than the concepts presented in ReadyMade #25).
