Andrew? Are we happening tonight or not? Where and when are we meeting beforehand (or if we’re not meeting beforehand, where and when is the event starting?). What are we doing? Please let us know!
Even if you get back on this one straight away, I fear this flashmob is going to have to be postponed or fizzle, since at this point it’s relying on enough people logging on here and and getting the details less than 24 hours before the event…

I’m in. Probably won’t have much of a hand in the planning, since I’m kinda lacking in free time (in fact, this is the first time I’ve looked at 43 Things in 6 months or so…), but I’ve always thought Flashmob events sounded neat, so I’d definitely like to be part of this.
That said, I don’t think it should be political (or pro- or anti- any specific cause). To me, flashmobbing is about creating a moment of random chaos of the people who witness it – anything that gives it “meaning” just takes away from that!
If people are after more ideas, check out Improv Everywhere – http://www.improveverywhere.com/home.php . Some of their “missions” have been pretty way out, a few to the point of causing potential legal trouble, but many others sound like lots of fun, for instance:

And someone mentioned slo-mo?
