BIG ONE: $2,588
1.9%: $1,800

Saved up: $1,600.

I’m moving in a couple of weeks and need actual money for the deposit and first months rent. And since I wont have a real job then until goodness knows when I need to prepare for living AT LEAST one month with my actual money (and not rely on my cc’s!!!!!)

August expenses:
BIG ONE: $100
1.9%: $50
DENTAL EXPENSE: $250

My WaMu CC has been paid off (kinda) Well, I need not worry about it anymore, at least.

I just made a huge $600 payment to the Big One. I am now officially in the $2000’s (well, the 2950’s but seeing that change from three to two is doing wonders to my mindset) My goal is to have around $2500 dollars saved up by August so I’m going to do my best to do that AND keep making huge payments.
Wish me happy paying!

AHAHAHA!

Success!

Well, kind of. Have opened another CC. Why is this a good thing? Well, it gives me 1.9% (plus 3 % on transfer) until next year which is MUCH better than the 16% I’m getting now on my wamu card. So, once I get it I will try and transfer as much as possible to that card- and just deal with the one big citi one I have. Woooohoooo!

Boooooo! 20 months ago

Both interviews are…no. Didn’t get the job, which sucks. I don’t think I sucked on the second one. Deciding whether or not to contact job people- I DON’T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY DON’T JUST CALL YOU BACK WHEN THEY TELL YOU THEY WILL!!!!

GRRRRRR! Hard to pay of my debt if I don’t have MONEY!

Yes and No 20 months ago

Luckily, my being unemployed led the student loan people to accept my deferment! I don’t have to think about that until September! Hurrah!

HOWEVER, my debt is greater than I had calculated- 4000 one ONE card, and 1000 on the other= 5000 to pay off. And still no job!

I’m probably going to have to go in to some retail/restaurant job for the time being. Good thing I have a degree from Berkeley :P

MORE IMPOSSIBLE! 20 months ago

I’m $4,500 in debt (not including student loan) and no more 0% APR!!!!!

My plan is to pay off the first (1,200) in 6 months (payment of 220 a month!) and start making bulk payment on this one after the first one clears. All this is dependent on my getting a JOB though!!!!!!
CC1: [$220 {200 + 20 interest they charge me a month)] x 6 = $1200= DONE!

CC2: Hope to pay off as much as possible these next months before student loan makes me pay up (again)

Debt#3: $100 per month all year!!!

Stupid job market!

Dammit. 2 years ago

This is going to be nearly impossible! I have a $3000+ debt, half on a 0% APR card (or at least I think!) and the other on a 17.99% (!!!!) APR. I’m planning on making a $50 monthly payment on one and a $20 payment on the other until I get out of school in May.
Damn my spending habits!
