Was able to cross out 6 or the 7 on my list since i had done South Twin a couple years ago. I must say, I probally shouldn’t have done as much as I did – but I was alone so i didn’t have anyone to convince me otherwise. The climb up Owls head was more of a character building hike as I was already at mile 13 when I started. There were so many times I wanted to turn back but wouldn’t let myself. Fortunately I caught a second wind, and made it back to my car before my flashlight died. Great time though.

I’ve attached a shot on the Bondclif trail the first day.

I’m looking to do some hiking this weekend. Hope to hike 7 4kers and cross out 6 more on my list=) Perhaps the weather will be nice for a change… we’ve certainly have had our fair share of rain recently!

This is a shot from a year ago heading up the North Slide on Mt Tripyramid.

I was hoping to complete this by the end of this summer, but high gas prices don’t make this quite as easy as it use to be. I’m thinking about going up for a 5 day trip in August to bag some peaks, but with 23 mountains left on my list, a September 1st deadline seems to be a little unrealistic.

this wierd new england weather this year is a killer.

Quite the indecisive weather pattern lately… make up your mind! Do you want to snow? or do you want to be 50 degrees out. ppsstt

That 4 hour drive is the only thing holding me back from getting more done this season.
