my wonderful and dear friend is using one of my art pieces in his new project called tiny run.
In his own words:
“Tiny Run is a bi-weekly, on-demand, interesting shirt product venue. For two weeks a single design will be featured, and at the end of every two week period, only the amount of orders placed dictate how many are produced. The old design is retired, and a new design will be posted.
Designs will not be reissued, there is no backstock.
The whole idea is to make a tiny, more personal run of a design. The whole idea is that these shirts are not everywhere, they aren’t on television shows or in magazines. I’m printing this on a shirt because I want one. So why not make a tiny run just for those who are interested. Do it one design at a time. But keep the prices reasonable all the same. The whole idea flies in the face of the internet’s making-money-with-t-shirts paradigm, where slim margins makes quantities the king.”
i think that qualifies as selling my art via a kind and generous friend’s awesome new project. Plus he’s inviting artists to submit work for future designs.
